I agree and often wonder how it is that un lovely shit heads like Trump and Netanyahu (and whoever leads Hamas and that walking erectile dysfunction in The Kremlin...) end up calling the shots?
How do we allow these nasty failures (at being a human being) decide the fate of us all? |

Travelling worldwide - as much as possible - at a young age is an invaluable benefit in/to life.
Seeing other cultures, nations, religions, philosophies, cults, extremes, politics etc. - early.
Unfortunately, many people do a 'grand tour' version much later. Never, more likely
However most just comment on media coverage - and make up what people are thinking on the far side of the world |

I think the main thing that came out of it was what I found over 60 years ago when I went around the world - 99.9% of people are lovely. Humans are generally great. That's always good to know and this series illustrated it. |

Really interesting - there were a lot of questions I had about how it was made (incredibly well filmed and edited) which were answered and what nice ten people - every one of them can have dinner with me any time they like. The look of the series was stunning. I have to say this series was terrific TV - well done everybody involved. |
