It's an interesting market with vinyl. Even with second hand stores. Some record shops consider old Americana music trash and sell those records cheaply, whilst other's charge an arm and a leg for the same albums.
I have not bought new Lps or releases. I will not fall for the hype and some new Lps can have skips and dings, when opened.

Interesting that a lot of my 1970s and 1980s albums are worth a bit but not a lot. Sadly because fans have died off in their millions. Whereas 1990s vinyl albums are now worth a fortune - at least ten times the earlier decade ones. So a £20 80s vinyl album by someone like The Boss is nice but not massive - the equivalent Oasis or Blur rubbish would fetch £200 each. Unfortunately by the 90s all our promotion albums to the Tipsheet were thrown out monthly to the charity Shelter for free!
