Wyot I thoroughly enjoy women's football when I get time to see it!

Congrats Lionesses.
robbiex I did watch the semi-finals and the end of the final, as I was travelling.
I found them entertaining, as they were very close games, with England lucky to get through to the final.
The winning penalty was apparently the most watched moment on British tv this year, so obviously a lot of people are enjoying it. some people say that the pitches should be adjusted to be smaller for women, as they don't kick the ball as hard. Most sports are in some way adjusted for women to make it more exciting (e.g. 3 sets for women's tennis).
Lester Pidgeon The world of sport has been stunned by the phenomenal success/growth of women's football, over the past 5/6 years - but it's certainly ticked a lot of boxes!

As far as I can see - the skill level is similar to the men's game. But the passion - and desire to win - seems higher in women's competitions.
Downing Street Cat I did watch it all. To be fair, the second half the England Women were fantastic. And they had to endure relentless attacks during extra time. Great goalkeeper. Great penalty shoot out. I enjoyed it a lot.
JK2006 I haven't watched a single second - whilst I can watch, and enjoy to a limited extent, women's tennis, I really find women's football utterly pointless.
