The Home Office have no clue who is over, what the numbers are, what the backgrounds are. Ireland has become irreconcilable, and in some towns and cities, indigenous Irish are the minority.
Why would you want to move thousands of miles to move a country that bombed yours?

Of course it's a very complex problem but Britain should never have aided it's "allies" in blowing up countries and creating the problem in the first place.
Why in the hell did the allies devastate Libya which, even though it was run by a despot nevertheless had wonderful social benefits for the citizens and a dictator that spent his oil wealth on his people?
Now it's run by war lords with people fleeing in the 1000s.
Palestine and Gaza likewise. The West seems to think there will be no blow back for it's imperial actions.
