Imagine Netanyahu's dismay and then the Zionist rage if that was to happen. Wider, longer, grander than Gaza, and above all with added liberty. The Zionist dummy would spit out so far you'd almost mistake it for a missile. They'd level Jordan just out of spite and then pick another fight with Iran. Egypt? Maybe bomb the Pyramids for the ultimate thrill? |

I use to laugh at my Tory voting pals who admired Maggie so much when they couldn't explain who these "other people" were whose money was supposedly used for Socialism.
Of course the truth is that both Tory and Labour use taxpayer's money (how on earth could they get other people's money?).
The difference between the parties is how they spend that money.
(Mind you it can be argued that Britain which once had the largest ever Empire used other people's money by ripping off the Third World of it's assets. Same same the USA)
But there really is a country that uses "other people's money" for it's Socialist policies..Israel.
Israelis get wonderful socialist benefits including superb health care and subsidized housing and so on.
I always admired Israel as a Socialist paradise but never realized the hapless hardworking US taxpayer funds all this to the tune of tens of $Billions given to Israel.

Of course I can't complain. Because so many Russian Jews have emigrated to Israel the government has invested multi $Millions into studying the particular Leukemia I have as for some odd reason, it's very prevalent among Russian Jews (thanks Mum) so they have developed wonderful drugs that keep me alive, for now.
I still think Israel has a right to exist (but will it survive?)

The benefit to Oz would be a needed influx of immigrants (just speeding up what they do each year) and the massive building and infrastructure programs to build a new city would be the biggest economic boom since FDR's New Deal that catapulted the USA out of The Depression. |
