you are quite wrong.

She said burn the place down. She did not say "if you burn the place down"

Talk about mental gymnastics.

On what planet is exhorting people to commit a mass murder but "qualifying" it with a claim you don't care if they do exonerate someone?

She did the crime and did the time after pleading guilty. Just very lucky no-one did actually set fires at her exhortation or she'd also be done under joint enterprise laws.

I don't want to defend the Connolly tweet, it was just daft in my view and hot headed. But at face value she threatened bricks and mortar buildings, not actual people, unlike like my previous post citing Streeting's efforts did. I just wonder how it might have turned out if instead of saying "burn down" she had said "demolished" in suggesting making the BUILDING unusable for them. "We should take a wrecking ball to all these hotels, for all I care" doesn't sound anywhere near as incendiary does it.

If any of these hotels were indeed burning down in flames and Connolly was walking past and able to pull one of these inhabitants to safety through a window I have no doubt she would do so and not watch them burn with total indifference. The same goes for all the Pink Ladies and all the other protestors, men and women.

We are putting literal text in content not twisting words or expressions to fill the libtard narratives.

I wonder if Hedda or Jo, will defend Wes Streeting or will say it's Free Speech?

hedda Simple solution..have Unisex toilets just like many other countries do.

Problem solved.

I always remember the unisex toilets in Mayfair's Embassy Club ...never a problem.

Often accompanied April Ashley to the loos although she wasn't "trans" but a sex change but she would get grief today in the current atmosphere where nothing slightly different is tolerated.

Same same the lovely Lady Edith Foxwell as we took adjoining stalls.

Urging others to (horribly) physically assault someone is not a solution.

Rich Interesting how Wes Streeting has come racing out the traps to say free speech laws now need to be reviewed in the light of the Linehan case.

I bet he does!

His track record on twitter of making threats directed at individual people and wishing them harm before he was an MP is there for all to see. In October 2009 he was naming actual people he would like to push to their deaths under trains.

16 Oct 09 - "Considering starting my own vigilante org to push nasty people under trains. First up Jan Moir followed by Geert Wilders."

16 Oct 09 - "There would be nothing natural about Jan Moir's death if I shoved the bigoted old bag under a train."

14 Nov 09 - "Someone just made the mistake of texting me 'Lift The Cap! Lift The Cap!'. Am tempted to burn his flat down"

10 Aug 10 - "Can I be a bounty hunter for rich tax dodgers. Willing to use a rifle."

15 Dec 10 - "@mbSheffield I will break your legs"

23 Apr 11 - "@thomasgraham @stevenfin I'll swap it for throwing you under a train, causing delays and then complaining about the delays"

14 Dec 14 - "I'm just loading up the carbine rifle and checking my list"

He has even said he wanted to punch the last Labour PM Gordon Brown back in June 2009 over a by-election date.

Yet in 2019 he complained on twitter about Theresa May when PM, saying May "knows that MPs across the House are subjected to death threats" and that her "incendiary and irresponsible" actions would make her "accept her share of responsibility" if harm came to any MPs.

There's a strange mind at work with this kind of continual messaging. He wasn't some daft and immature teenage lad at the time but a fully grown adult in his late 20's and beyond 30 in one case. Do I think Streeting should be arrested for all this lot? No. But the incitement here is far worse than anything Linehan is still waiting to hear about on bail even if we know he didn't really mean any of it. There are other tweets about slapping and hitting people too. Do you think if we were dumb enough to agitate hundreds of complaints to the Met about this little lot that they'd send round a dozen coppers to escort him off for further enquiries...dream on!
