Anthony I don't think terrestrial TV News is as important as it used to be.

Most people probably just check out the 24 hour News channels at their convenience.

I generally just use the BBC website whenever I have a minute.

Times changing.
JK2006 I personally think my old friend Michael Grade (who wrote to me in prison) has made a mistake with his News At Ten - with the BBC doing it at 10, 10.30 didn't clash and gave ITV the chance to screen 90 minute shows from 8.

I like Trevor (we were on TalkRadio together and he, too, wrote me several nice letters inside) but I think it would be better at 10.30.

My favourite newsreader John (Poirot's brother) Suchet seems to have been moved off Ch5 (for awful Natasha Kamthingski). The BBC should snap him up.
