JK2006 I'm afraid the Gene Hunt character has become boringly one dimensional - the joke has worn thin and stopped being funny - the Alex woman is no John Simm and they are working the "in a coma" line to death.

I actually felt Life On Mars was weakest when it laboured the coma aspect too but they kept the characters and plots strong.

Ashes has seriously deteriorated.
