In The Know 15000 pieces of luggage "lost" today alone in T5 - plus 66 flights cancelled ... would ANYONE trust these tossers with your finger-prints ?
JK2006 Very good article by Anthony Horowiz in the Guardian Saturday - he is starting to move to the ranks of the converted (it took one journey to convince me) that St Pancras or Dover are far better bets than airports.

I guess fingerprinting the aeroplanes was a bit harder than they had anticipated

JK2006 As Terminal 5 collapses in chaos, I'm reminded of the time last year when I had to fly out of Terminal One and vowed not to use airports in the UK again if I could avoid it.

Whenever possible I use Eurostar or Eurotunnel and then, if I have to fly, go out of Paris.

Far better.
