Mart I found all the interviews in London yesterday absolutely amazing, as was the footage.
Nobody spoke up against the protest, the poilce were almost sympathetic, even the girl who had the torch pulled from her grasp did not complain, whereas the French?...

The authorities just went "to hell with this, we`ll light it back up when we get to the station".
Oh the symbolism...
In The Know The French (hotheaded !) have again shown that they demonstrate better - and good to see that the torch was put out and the pro-Chinese publicity stunt abandonned!

Bring back the Spring of '68 !
