JK2006 A simple one word answer.

Madness.
toby what on earth makes people behave like that?
JK2006 dropping something off for Jonathan Ross and was greeted with great affection by Liz Kershaw.
Outside all the usual autograph/photo hunters (who I hadn't seen in years) were delightful and full of good manners. I signed dozens of books and posed for pics.
But as I was leaving (the marvellous Eartha Kitt was about to arrive) a very well dressed woman was sitting in a car behind me, purple faced and shouting.
I went up to her to see if I'd parked badly but no, with the window shut she was shouting obscene insults at me.
Next to her was her rather attractive teenage daughter cringing with embarrassment. The poor girl gave me a shy, nervous, apologetic smile and I realised she was terrified of her mother.
What a strange world when a seemingly normal adult can behave so badly in front of her child and not realise she is screwing up the girl's life.
The celebrity spotters said "she's often here - she's a mad cow".
