Mart At two pm, when doing a session in the studio we always break for lunch and pop over to the nearby pub, which has been delightful in the past, but sadly as in most eaterie cases these days, has undergone the dreaded "brewery cutback".

Gone are the comforting doorstops of bread, in , is the new "brewery cutback" sliced bread.

And why, is Rocket so fashionable? It simply does not go with everything, it`s too strong a flavour to stick with all foods.(Prawns and rocket?? no, no no!)

A dreadful simple burger too. A burger is about the meat, not a floury lump of ciabatta,(again with rocket) which is too tough to eat and powders your nose in the process.

The "brewery cutback " chef said he was going to prepare me some onion marmalade. A simple task, I do it all the time, it takes ten minutes.
Ten minutes to open a jar of pickle in it`s place, is taking the proverbial.

All acts recording with us in the future will get a treat in future as I will be cooking instead.

Boycotted , one pub with "brewery cutbacks".

A bit of a shame really, everyone fancies the barmaid....
