Eliza i came to the screening as a friend got send the invitation and i have to say i thought it was incredible. the line from the tabloid woman was the funniest in it. the sight of king as a flasher was shocking but got a big larf. the song about shipman is shocking. the song about oscar got big applause. and the champers was great.
Mart I must say, I am finding it very hard to review.
Why is this? you ask..

Well I`ve worked this out.
In so much of my writing, I tend to read and write what is not written between the lines of the project.
The film is such a verbal storm, one cannot write a review in that way on this occasion.

Watch it and see.
In The Know JK,

Congratulations on the film - I've just watched it throughout and must say its a tremendous achievement. (I never really thought of you previously as a "lay" member of the Monty Python team but the film is nearly as surreal as anything they ever did !)

I'm only sorry that I could not attend the screening - but when I read your announcement I did not realise that the screening was so imminent.

(btw - I streamed the film - large screen - and it was excellent. I will download later).
