mikemacca This made me somewhat interested.

A police child protection officer who admitted downloading thousands of images of child pornography is being sentenced today.

Iain Duncan, of Bishopbriggs near Glasgow, pleaded guilty to possessing 3,319 indecent images of children and 20 moving images.

Duncan, 28, also admitted sending and receiving 326 indecent images of youngsters.

I assume he hasn't been remanded in custody during the last 4 months since he was suspended, however Craig Meehan, the "stepfather" of Shannon Matthews was remanded in custody for possessing 140 images of "children"

Surely this isn't one rule for the police and one for the public ?
