The great visionary King, second only to the mighty Arcati, anticipates us being months or perhaps only weeks away from a media giant being charged as an accessory in a criminal act.
So close are the tabloids to setting up situations in order to create stories that they are starting to look like the boy in the next stall winking at the gays in order to get arrests and convictions.
Entrapment - it used to be called.
These days, setting up celebs/Lords/politicians/racing stars/footie players - it just takes a nudge across the line (a typical example of this century morality) to entrap someone.
All those photos and stories and exclusives...
If we let it happen, it will happen. And we are very close to a decent cop (hahaha) realising this and grabbing someone.
When it does (the Royal phone tap was close) - expect serious consequences. |
