Oh well .. Man Utd won, but I'm glad it was Giggs who scored the final goal. He's one Man Utd player I have a lot of respect for.

Quite right, Cat. I was at Pride Park when Derby played Man Utd. Giggs is the model professional, unlike Ronaldo's diving and cheating all over the place, and Rooney's charmless and constant whining at the referree.
Mart If Cat is Sven, I suspect we will be seeing rather more of him the daytime for a while.

Sven does seem to like going out with a bang thought doesn`t he?
The guy must have skin thicker than a white rhino and, equally rare.
The Cat I don't think Sven's team scored EIGHT!!
JK2006 Ah Cat - sussed you at last - you're SVEN GORAN ERIKSSON!
The Cat Giggs scored from open play. Ronaldo had to rely on a gifted penalty. Giggs takes the prize.

I agree he's past his best now, and he'll most likely either retire or drop down a level, or go into coaching. Despite today's goal, he doesn't have half his old speed.

Wigan should have had at least one penalty, but Chelsea failed to win so that became accademic.

Meanwhile my own team scored EIGHT. Only 19 goals at home all season and then we score 8 in the final game.
