Foz The only other version I have heard is one Leonard Nimoy recorded!

Clifford Thanks for the research. A good old friend of mine who was a record collector many moons ago, swore he had it on vinyl and now pines for it. I'll break the news gently.

I'd guess that would likely be the case... Newley did pop up on many TV shows over his life to sing numbers he never recorded. I was listening to one such occasion last night when he guested on a naff Beatles tribute show on American TV in the late 70s, where for some inexplicable reason he got to sing "Within You Without You" of all songs... not a sound for the faint hearted!
