Thanks for the research. A good old friend of mine who was a record collector many moons ago, swore he had it on vinyl and now pines for it. I'll break the news gently. |

I'd guess that would likely be the case... Newley did pop up on many TV shows over his life to sing numbers he never recorded. I was listening to one such occasion last night when he guested on a naff Beatles tribute show on American TV in the late 70s, where for some inexplicable reason he got to sing "Within You Without You" of all songs... not a sound for the faint hearted!
