Martin K Two thoughts on it happening again...
1. I believe the little beast was actually smuggled in by some fans who had planned a little jape.
2.This could become a cult, as Klinsman said after the match, that the squirells are much better looking in Germany, and he could not wait for everyone to see them when they come to Germany for the World Cup.
It is far more likely to see the rodents on a cricket pitch, where there are plenty of empty spaces, with little happening in them. I have no recollection of ever seeing a small grey thing running around, plenty of gulls and pidgeons but no rodents.
So come on Arsenal fans! Own up!
Who Let The Squirrel Out!?
andrew What are the odds of it happening again in football
Arse-Nal Very funny wasn't it!
Martin K For anyone who did not see the Arsenal FC match last night, play was hilariously stopped by a squirrel on the pitch.
The rodent ran rings around Thiery Henry and Lundberg, before over celebrating his performance and vanishing into the crowd following a red card.
How amusing it was to hear 20,000 + footballing voices chanting SQUERRRAL !SQUERRALLLL!
More vermin on the pitch please!
