BR ANDREW DISMORE is the HEAD OF HUMAN RIGHTS committee in the House of Commons.

He still opposes the 42 days and is right.

These are cosmetic things.

We must all oppose 42 days detention without charge or evidence.

Terrorism has always existed - we are no more threatened by it now than before - in many ways less now the IRA threat has gone.

Why do we need to pretend we are in a Terror War when the evidence says that more people are killed by knifes each year than in terrorism in the last 10 year ( and so on and so on )

OPPOSE 42 DAYS otherwise we could end up a one party state. It is dangerous law.
In The Know Major compromises - described as "Mickey Mouse" by opponents - proposed.
