Dominic Dee I quite like David Tennant in some episodes of Dr Who. It's when he's asked to do more comical scenes that he falls down. His most natural role was in an episode of Foyles War.
emmapeelfanclub I agree that Miller's comments are spot on.

I am shocked and appalled that David Tennant gets to play Hamlet because he just cannot act. Every role I've seen him play, he is totally unconvincing. Worse, being Doctor Who means we have to see his mug almost everywhere and it's a face I intensely dislike.

Is it just me, or has anyone spotted that Tennant always uses the same facial expression in virtually every picture? You know the look... one eyebrow arched above the other... what I call "The Gary Glitter expression"!
JK2006 He criticises Producers for booking celebrities ahead of talent and uses as an example the appalling David Tennant as Hamlet as opposed to Miller's unknown - Jamie Ballard.

We'll be seeing a Big Brother winner as King Lear next.
