Mart The great thing about annual flowering shrubs (?) like them, is the cheap, or free in my case, floral arrangements you can create.
I love having flowers in the house, but it is very much a process of allergies and elimination of them.
Sneezing is very much an exhausting human problem, people make light of it, but to the severely afflicted (not me I might add), it must be hell.

I have not had hiccups for years, which is as annoying, but I do know, that if I hiccup once, that is two days of it forthcoming, which is horrid.

Such silly and yet amazing machines we all live in.
But they do require regular oil changes.

I have about 10 of these plants, all now superbly in flower and the butterflies they attract are marvellous.
All of the ones in my garden have been plucked out of walls etc as mere weeds and one is now actually 18 feet tall.

The downsides.....

Do these bastard things make me sneeze or what?

And of course, the dang dog is eating the butterflies.

I used to have a red one and a white one.

IRC they're also known as "butterfly bushes" and do attract them.
