Dominic Dee It was always two hours , written for the Sunday 9pm-11pm slot. I think they may have repeated some as two parters (1 hour per part) in a weekday 4pm slot, as they did with Midsomer Murders.
In The Know I had seen it before. The caption at the end of the programme said (c)2004. Am I imagining things or did this prog used to be a one hour programme originally?
Fran This was a repeat which I certainly saw before.
Dominic Dee I was also surprised that I hadn't seen it. Was it officially a repeat or was it one that was not shown for some reason?
JK2006 Obviously not as this repeat was new to me.

I bet it got massive ratings.
A repeat. Of a series they have stopped making.

Take this along with wonderful Patricia Routledge's comments about the BBC and Hetty Wainthropp (another of my favourite series).

And the fact that New Tricks starts a new series next week virtually unheralded by the Beeb.

It just goes to show that TV, as always, is run by wankers.
