Mike Willis Another fantastic episode, Jack returned and this was very well done at the start without overshadowing this weeks plot.

This week's figures apparantly drew nearly nine million viewers, more than Eastenders/Coronation Street, making it probably the highest rated show of this week.

Even in the fifth series, it shows no signs of the format getting tired and you actually care for the characters involved as they are so believable.
JK2006 I loved Amanda's question when Gerry said "the two of them were a great rock team" (like Page and Plant)...

"You mean like Robbie and Gary?".

I do love well informed scripts (which New Tricks always has as well as splendid acting).
BR for once a very believable drama about the music industry. Very enjoyable - and the royalty situation believable.

Anyone who has worked with some older retro rockers will have chuckled to themselves as well.
JK2006 Some great music industry lines and JACK IS BACK!!
