Chris Retro This is from the 18th September 1980 show - an odd show in so much that there was no studio audience and the music shown was all either repeat performances or videos. I believe that Olivia Newton-John was Bates' co-host that week
SW Nice joking about the charges you faced re the posibility of wearing the wig. Words fail me with you. Have a bit of respect, for God's sake.
Blondini I could never solve that thing, short of peeling the stickers off! Great clip! Almost tempting me to buy a new one!
JK2006 Strangely this clip is being much viewed and raved about... Rubik's Cube must ring bells with people... says something about the age of our viewers.
Mart I`m one of the sad ones who actually learned how to do the cube!
Not quite sad enough to have bought a book on it, but a friend gave me a sheet of Basildon Bond paper with 5 points of instructions through the stages of it. I learned this sheet , and could do it in about 5 minutes, a great party trick! I still have my cube, but I can`t recall the last stage anymore on how to finish it. The first 2 layers are quite easy, it`s the last one where it gets hard and that is the state mine remains in.
