Seen David live twice in the last few months - once at Brixton, the other during the by-election in Hull.
Wonderful, engaging speaker. I don't believe in *everything* he says but a lot of what he does say does make a hell of a lot of sense, when you 'join the dots'. |

I think what I still find most amazing is how David Icke pulled off being a sports presenter for the Beeb without losing the script and saying what he actually wanted to say back then!
I mean , can you imagine how it could have been?
"And it`s Liverpool 2-1 up at the moment, but they really need to care less about the game, worry about the planet more and watch out for the lizards that are taking over our lives! We are just hearing that Newcastle are 1-0 up, but ignore that goal as I know for a fact that it was an alien that scored it, so it should be ignored by the ref. Back to the studio with Frank now who , I believe has also just scored!"
No offence Mr Icke, we do need people like you in this world and I think you would like the joke there. |

I see what you are saying but is it really any better? We are dealing with the politics of drivel and sloganeering, and to me (whilst it is very very serious) it's no better than showbizzy-bollocks of "celebrity". Isn't America where we adopted this obsession with empty vacuous celebrity and reality tv from anyway? The yanks are fools to themselves thinking staged debates and media-tapping pledges actually mean anything! |

I really like David Icke and sometimes-I really believe his theory about alien reptiles taking over people's bodies -especially politicians temporarily-may be true.
Especially with the current crop-they really do seem to be a pretty weird bunch-from Tony Blair to George Bush-they seem like possesed beings ! .
As I live half the year in Australia-I used to regularly see the PM John Howard around-I couldn't stand the bastard and he looked like an evil little sod to me, but I saw him the other day-and he just looks like a reasonable little old man now-he doesn't seem to have an of the aura of evil he had before.
So maybe the reptile has left his body ! ( or I could be bonkers) |

I'm 24, and here's a basic summary of why I'm thinking of leaving Britain:
In America earlier this year, a televised debate between Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama got higher ratings than live coverage of a Superbowl play-off match and the new series of The Apprentice.
Could you imagine anything like that happening here? No, me neither. We are too obsessed with the culture of celebrity and other irrelevant drivel.
If we sat up, paid attention and organised ourselves properly, those who make decisions that affect us all would be held to account. As it is, we find it easier to switch off and we only have ourselves to blame for the Orwellian nightmare that is fast emerging. |
