BR I live in London - no coverage here at all. Just 10 seconds on the National News last night of him telling a joke about Cameron.

Shame really - and you are quite right - it should have been shown to Londoners.
Denise If it was on the Parliament Channel then it obviously hasn't "been blacked" out by the media. It just means it wasn't considered to be a high enough priority.

It was probably given more coverage in the London region, where it was most relevant.
BR Todays speech by Boris was amazing ( had to watch it on the Parliament Channel because the media have blacked it out )

Easily the best speech so far of any conference.

London based forumers will be pleased to know he is FREEZING the GLA part of Council Tax. Unless the POLICE or Local Authorities ask for more then COUNCIL TAX IN LONDON SHOULD be 0% rise.

He has done this through savings like getting rid of the rubbish propaganda paper The Londoner.

If only all politicians were as open and funny as Boris or cared as much about the ordinary people.

We will see Sir Ian Blair demand another 20% rise in Police funding ( so they can carry on spending millions on surveilling the wrong people and shooting first ) and probably many councils will try and get their noses in the trough as well.

It would be a great help to all in our overpriced City if they could take their lead from Boris and stop wasting money and allow us to have a year off a big rise in this tax.

Good to see the BBC either ignoring the Conference or ripping it apart today ! Talk about showing their New Labour colours ( and we have nearly 2 years to an election - heaven help us alL ! _)
