This could be a turning point in history - where at last the poor exert their influence.
Why should the taxpayers of the USA bail out the rich bankers.
Now it is time for the TORIES and LIBS to challenge Gordon Brown. No BAIL OUTS here either.
We must not let the CITY FAT CATS use OUR money to pay for their mistakes. Let them go to the wall. Only then will they learn that a free market is a RISK market. Many of us on here are entrepreneurs in music and we have no safety net....why should the very rich have OUR taxes as their safety net.
Many of us here are not in the music business. The same rules apply.

Remember we were told in July when fuel hit 147 dollars a barrel that Worldwide demand for fuel meant the 200 dollar barrel would be with us now.....it is at 90 at the moment.
These bankers basically talk things up and down - by doing so they make money by selling when low and buying when high. They are literally laughing - all the way to the bank !
We are all being ripped off and it is us who suffer. That is the only thing we need to know.

I have found it wierd today - and it amazes me that an empty promise from Bush actually instills so much confidence in the markets as they seemed to have gained ground after such depressing predictions in the media this morning.
It makes me wonder what will actually happen if this 'deal' doesnt go through - will it be as bad as everyone makes out?
