DJones	Fry's show is based on culture rather than comercialism. If there is "culture" at all in America (some think "american culture" is an oxymoron), it was based from the very beginning on commercialism.
JK2006	Not sure I agree with you Angel - I think it is two different ways of seeing places - Whicker did it one way, I did it another; there's Palin's way and Fry's way and Merton's way... For me, a weekly way of looking at America involved music, TV commercials, film trailers, news items as well as interviews and travelogues...
