This seems to be a good idea - giving loans to Developing World projects for poor people.

No guarantee it will work out - but hey looking at many of the projects it does seem to be a great idea.

Cant understand why Oxfam have not set up a Loan Department like this - could be that they have to get enough money to support their infrastructure before they can work with teams on the ground. Oxfam usually have a Christmas Gift catalogue that helps you to give gifts to developing countries as well.

This seems to be an ideal way to get personally involved in some exciting projects.
