Mart Here`s a squirrel story for you.

A rather older than I expected babysitter turned up one night.

"How are you ?" I asked.
"I shot 4 of the the bastards today!" she replied.
I enquired to what the heck she had shot and it turned out that she was obsessed with shooting grey squirrels in her garden if they intruded.

Rather worrying to leave this nutcase with my kids, but even more worrying to return home and find her wandering around the kitchen trying to find the loo in the dark with my eleven year trying to help her at midnight.

It makes you think though doesn`t it?

A CRB check, does not include the simple question of, "are you a lunatic old lady with a gun?".
Angel The grey ones get on my nuts.
BarntheBarn They are slighlty smaller which might add to their 'cuteness'...there shade of red is also a striking one opposed to the industrial shade of the grey.

I went to Brownsea Island during my last holiday to Cornwall for the Du Maurier week, saw a Red Squirrel (just the one) and they are equally lovely in 'real life'.
JK2006 Don't the red squirrels in Autumnwatch look sweet?
Why are they so much more attractive than the grey ones?
