Yes quite. Anyway, ahem, getting back to the weather. There's something quite nice about a settled crisp winter's day. Unlike the usual rain and wind of late, one can wrap up and enoy the outdoors. It can be a really special time of year. |

I doubt gas and electric prices would be any cheaper if they were nationalised. We'd also face the prospect of constant strikes and blackouts, just like before they were privatised. |

It's about time we had a proper winter since far too many of them have been too mild. I too love the snow and crisp chilly air.
The only real down side is the greedy morons running the energy companies will be making the most disgusting profits and many will bankrupt themselves trying to pay their ransom money... either that, or freeze. So, if we do get a full fledged winter, unfortunately it's likely to be a hard and depressing one for a great many.
Screw nationalising the banks... gas and electricity should had been re nationalised. But no... that would be sensible, generous and lead to losses of Profit and that is all that matters these days - Profit... whether it be holding everyone to ransom over bills, or making false allegations to sell to newspapers... resulting in farcical "trials" in which the Police, Media, solicitors and lawyers make tons of cash. |

I'm not complaining. I prefer cold weather to hot, and I always look forward to a real winter. My post was merely informative. We have had too many mild winters, in my opinion.
I only dislike the cold when it comes with rain.
Frost and snow are fine with me.  |
