The true villains in this sad saga are those who wish to destroy the BBC by chipping away with stories about irresponsibility, spending, salaries...
For only one reason - they are rivals.
I fear many in the public are, like you, goaded into righteous indignation. It is so easy to do and many will feel offended and upset without thinking why - answer; the Mail published it.
It takes subtle examination to realise why we are all tainted by stories like today's Sun "he shrieked OLE when we were screwing"... don't fall for the real sleaze peddlers who disguise their filth in righteous indignation. |

Not in this crazy upside down society Denise. The victims are the villains and the villains are the victims. Sometimes this is true...but only sometimes. It is why the thugs and the scumbags are winning, and the law abiding citizen is penalised. CCTV is used to spy on people putting their rubbish in the wrong bins on the wrong day. Yesterday a thug who stamped on a goth girl's head until there was nothing left recognisable got his life sentence quashed. The handwringers, the bedwetters,the paranoid and the PC brigade are ruining this country. |

Well clearly Sach's grand-daughter has got it all wrong as well ( as I did) as listening to the track-helpfully provided by the Daily Mail whilst thundering on about the outrage of it all-it was Jonathon Ross who said that Brand "fucked his grand-daughter"
(and me-thinks she may have even been in on the thing which has back-fired)
This is a beat-up of gigantic proportions but at the same time-the whole act was so pathetically un-funny which is the only "crime" commited here.
There are some extremely funny prank phone call shows-the best coming out of the US like Crank Yankers on MTV..very creative and funny but not offensive.
The only thing offensive about Brand & Ross was that it was so long and actually very very dull !
Obviously they intended to include the grand-daughter bit as why would there be any other reason to call Sachs ?
Sacking either is most unfair if it's done for this reason as the tabloids are the ones milking and promoting the outrage.
At the same time-Jonathon Ross and 16 Mill a year ?.2 maybe, but talk about someone being paid way above their worth. All the BBC should do is use this as an excuse to re-negotiate his contract. |
