I know that much, as we used to take our news feeds from a very obscure station in Birmingham, which we would leave on a fader, with the fader down all day until the hour for the news when we would fade them in and wait for the epic line "it`s 3 minutes past "...whatever time it was.
Actually from anyone who has not been a broadcaster, thats probably quite interesting to note.
However, we never once mentioned the company that the news came from, neither were we asked to, they just gave us some of their adverts to play in return for their services, which probably gained them more revenue to their customers by increasing the genuine amount of listens the ads would get that they could boast of. |

Don't confuse taking a news feed from being owned or run by, Mart. |

A serious question here, that somebody must know the answer to.
I have noticed that a lot of the radio networks, which obviously Russel will probably now be available to work for, seem to run by Sky, as they have Sky News feeds etc.
Are there any radio stations run by Channel 4`s people to anyones knowledge? |

He's quit so he isn't sacked and in a couple of months he'll have a new job with the BBC
Just call me cynical.... |

This whole thing has become rather surreal.
I feel the resignation has magnified and turned a fairly minor issue into something it doesn't deserve to be.
Amusing? Not for me. Tasteless? A bit. Important... |
