"remoting" a computer Zooloo - surely you understand what that means ?
Go into your Vista control panel and you can switch on remote - that means if you are on the phone with say your ISP they can control your PC - it has happened to me and is very weird to see someon else controlling your mouse etc.
The Police are asking for permission to do this.
How do you know the police are asking permission to do this?
PERHAPS the VOICES in HIS head tell HIM. Failing that, it could be martians, LIZARDS, gypsy ROSE lee or PAUL Mckenna. As far as conspiracy related stuff go, THIS one IS off the scale. |

Maybe the answer is to go low tech. I still have a manual typewriter, along with pens and paper. If I felt that I was genuinely being monitored and threatened via technology I could quite happily live without it. |

It says 'remote viewing" and that means control and unbelievably ,as I wondered before clicking the link.. there it was.."child porn crime" !!
(download free Linux and by-pass windows altogther)
Yep..you are being softened up for control of the net.
No need for tinfoil..what you need is a bullshit detector as that is what this article is full of and the EU figures on 'child porn crime' are in sharp contrast to Interpol figures.
But remember..what about the little kiddies ?..if you don't handover control of the internet to me today your child will die tomorrow at the hands of a pedo!!

No idea - try going to your "help" panel on Windows and put in "remote" and see if you can find any information.
It may point you towards a screen where you can say yes or no to remote control of your PC.
With the POLICE they obviously dont need permission to overule this screen. |
