BR You are right to ask that Veritas.

Basically it says that society has failed to work out how to look after and discipline a 12 year old child. To call the Police and lock the child up is surely in itself Child Abuse.

We treat Children in the UK in an appalling way. And many OAPs as well.

I just hope that when CAMERON gets in he actually delivers on his "broken society" pledge and does everything he can to stop these types of things.
veritas Why on earth is a 12 year old being carted off to jail-drunk or sober ?
Angel Absolutely spot on. Any other profession and he'd be struck off. Even if he was about to be attacked, aren't police officers trained in self defence? I have to say, i'm not surprised at the verdict. This has been happening for decades. The "force" are a law unto themselves.

Basically our Police can do what they want. Assaulting 12 year old boys is fine. They not only worm their way out of a custodial sentence - they keep their job.

Our society is corrupt to the core and this story put together with the DE MENEZES verdict shows that we live today in "POLICE STATE BRITAIN" - I realise that the Police face difficult jobs but to assault a 12 year old boy would lose any teacher or any of us our jobs I would bet.
