veritas I absolutely agree..the real strengths of sites like youtube haven't even begun to be felt yet.

That's also why I predict real attempts to "own" the net to be stepped up.

I guess the main point might be that he didn't mention X Factor at all, and that in itself is a good thing. Also that there is possibly a stronger entertainment (E) factor in this one video than in the sum of all X Factors.

Sort of agree with you. Looks as if we are seeing the "Nazi" state go to new levels with this latest idea from Brown's Stasi Style state.

Anyone can see that the true up and coming talent isn't appearing on television. They are to be found on You Tube.

I predict a shift away from television in the coming years... producers, directors will be scouring You Tube...or at least they should be.
