giles2008 Watched it yesterday for the first time since the relaunch. Stelling is ok but the new carole is awful. She reads the numbers off a clipboard and still cant do it. Another crap attempt to yoof up a programme while cutting costs for the ailing channel four.

She's like a thin teapot, kind of Olive Oil putting up the letters, disturbing...

Shes blonde though, so my two year old is already in love with her....
Anthony Give the poor girl a chance, folks. She's only just started.

The early episodes of Countdown were quite stilted. It took ages for the chemistry to build up between Carol and Richard Whiteley.

Give the presenters some time to bed in.
I'm Not A Celebrity She's absolutely awful. People will be switching off in their droves...older viewers liked Carol as she was the lovely daughter/granddaughter, younger viewers liked her as she was on their wave length, gay men liked her as she was the kind of woman they could have had a laugh with, middle aged men liked her as she had a fantastic arse!
JK2006 It does seem odd but the new girl is all bony and awkward and seems uncomfortable and ill at ease and angular.
