ah but he sold out the other 25 dates. I saw him at Nottingham Royal Concert Hall and it was full.

George has been clean for a year and a half now, and working hard- 2 tours last year, recording for a new album etc He has really turned his life round.

The pre-sentence report is supposed to take this kind of thing into account, and is probably one of the reasons why a suspended sentence was recommended.

John Themis, who wrote the tribute above, has started mixing a live album which will be out soon. It's a great idea to react to the sentence in such a positive way, and to show people how good he is live these days.
giles2008 He had his show at Portsmouth Guildhall cancelled last year due to only selling 80 tickets. Hopefully this will be the last we hear from him. He should retire with whatever dignity he has left. Looking at him nowadays a part in Deadenders cant be far away as one of the long lost Mitchell cousins.
robbiex I like Boy George, both as a singer and an individual. He was eloquent and funny, however in recent years, he has clearly gone off the rails, probably because of drugs (just like the mid-80s). The incident in New York where drugs were found in his flat after he called the police and now this imprisonment of an escorg. Whipping someone with a metal chain is a bit beyond a citizens arrest. It will probably do him good to spend time inside, where he can assess his life and stay away from drugs. If this event didn't lead to his imprisonment, then something else down the line would have done.
BR A lovely tribute.

The CELEB "Show Trial By Media" Culture of the UK is obscene.

Dreadfully sad week for all those who love the 80s music scene.

My brother was assaulted on a High Street whilst with his two young children. He was hospitalised and had to take 3 weeks off work.

A CCTV camera captured the incident.

My brothers attackers were not famous. They were hardened criminals. They already had "form".

They were not jailed but escaped with £50 fines. and it was not their first offence.

Our JUSTICE system is corrupt and a waste of time. I have no faith in it at all anymore.
