Foz I wonder if Shane Ritchie, being a song and dance man, will be 'singin' der feem toon' as well
Al Someone called Lex Shrapnel.

I should clarify that it is on next Wednesday 4th Febuary. Ididn't realise I was reading next week's listings.

I'll still be watching though.
Foz It will probably be a variation of the Alfie Moon character on EE, which was a variation of Shane Richie
Winchester Who is playing the Minder part ?

Al The new series of Minder starts on Channel 5 at 9pm Wednesday. When I first heard about it I was told it was a remake of the old series and I decided I wasn't going to watch it. Then I heard that it is a follow on with Shane Richie playing Arthur's nephew, Archie Daley.

The original Minder is one of my favourite TV dramas of all time. I'm sceptical about whether the new series will be any good, but I'll tune in tomorrow and give my opinion afterwards.

No idea what Shane Richie's like as an actor. I believe he's in Eastenders, but that's not something I watch. The trailer suggets he might not be that bad, but the minder looks a bit characterless compared to Terry McCann. I shall try to watch with an open mind.
