JK2006 Absolutely agree Foz - great building, iffy exhibits, iffy coffee and cake!
Foz When I went 5 years ago, I thought the building was more impressive than the exhibits. Call me a heathen, but a video showing a man in a clown suit jumping up and down shouting 'NO!' is not art. Nor is a video of a man smoking a cigarette and saying 'shit' in different ways.

I suppose, like the media, you can interpret anything to mean something these days.
JK2006 Went around the Tate Modern for the first time yesterday.
Very enjoyable afternoon which culminated in a tea in the restaurant on the 7th floor.
We walked up the stairs.
Fine for my younger companion but I felt I was lucky not to snuff it!
