Slightser Yes, I have to agree there. The Marmite of films and I hate marmite.
JK2006 It's very much a film provoking extremes - the reviews went each way too.
Slightster Don't flame me - I am only giving an opinion but I thought the film was awfully bad. The acting was top notch throughout but I found the storyline totally lacking in any real substance and I hated the baseball bat in the face use of metaphor (feathers, lightbulb blowing, window opening, crucifix scene just to mention a few). I am stunned that people actually liked this film, I cannot find much saving grace at all. Some of the speeches were beautifully written as was some dialog but overall the film really didn't say anything new to me nor did it draw any emotion other than boredom.

I probably would enjoy it as a play but not a film. This type of script doesn't lend itself to the big screen at all and it made me feel cheated out of a couple hours of my life.
JK2006 Yes; just opened... my brother went to a preview last week and loved it too.
david sounds very interesting- is it out?
