robbiex The worst thing is when they accept the deal early on and then they have to continue to 'play' the game to see what they would have won. Who cares what they would have won if they hadn't dealt, they didn't win it!!!
The Fat Controller It would be a much better show if the top prize was 1 million, and the pantomime element was discarded. It is mindlessly irritating when the contestant starts to get endless advice from those opening the boxes. 'You might win the top prize...you might not...if I were you I'd take the offer...remember what happened to Joe Bloogs last Friday?'

giles2008 The UK version is loads better than the US and South African versions. On these shows there is only one contestant and the boxes are suitcases opened by glamourous ladies. In Malta they use blue shoeboxes and have a production budget of about fifty quid. The UK one is the most entertaing of the lot i feel. I wouldnt have watched it if i hadnt have seen JKs posting. Think it will give the show a much needed shot in the arm.

Agreed. It might as well be a televised game of Ludo! It's novelty ran out for me very early on when I realised there was no real element of skill, plus endless moments of Noel nattering to "the banker" is not quite my idea of entertainment!

Anyhow glad you enjoyed it.
