The Cat The David Lean version gets my vote too.
BarntheBarn The David Lean version? That is my fave film ever I liked the BBC Tony Marchant adaptation but liked it less than I thought I would - Tony M is a fantastic writer (see 'Kid in the Corner' or 'Holding On')...The Robert De Niro Hollywood film was a little odd.
JK2006 I can watch Great Expectations for the fortieth time and still prefer it to anything else on television.
