mikemacca As I said a couple of weeks ago, Man U will have won the title by now plus they have a champions league final coming up. Do they want to risk injuries from a robust team desperate to stay up ? If they put in thesame shameful effort they did against West Ham 3 years ago then expect Hull to stay up but I must admit Man U reserves could probably beat Hull.

Newcastle deserve to go down and I hope they do.
Al If Newcastle and Hull both lose by 2 or 3 goals, the Boro can escape relegation by winning by 2 or 3 goals. Tall order, but it sounds better than them having to win by 5.

I think Sunderland will stay up. The way things are going I can't see either Newcastle or Middlesbrough winning their next game. I hope Hull stay up and are able to invest in a few more decent quality players. It's out of Ferguson's hands, even though he suggested he might "be fair to other teams". If Newcastle and Middlesbrough don't win, it won't matter what the Man Utd v Hull result is.
robbiex Hopefully Newcastle and Middlesborough will stay up, although this is unlikely for boro. I would like to see Southgate given more time, he seems like an intelligent young man with the right attitude. He doesn't waste his time with mind games and blaming refereress like Fergie, Benitez et al.
JC As a Boro fan I can say we are definately down. Sunderland should stay up because it would take a win from both Newcastle and Hull to send them down. I think Newcastle will likely go down with Boro.
giles2008 Sunderland away at Chelsea, Hull at Old Trafford and Newcastle away at Villa. Boro look doomed as their Goal Difference is inferior to Hull. They would need a five nil win over West Ham.Shoul be an interesting last day.
