veritas about 6 months ago I was walking down a street in Sydney and out of one of the best restauarants came an SBS (local government ethnic TV station) presenter who I know..sort of to say hello to...and I did and the bloke with her.

20 yards later was thinking what a good looking guy she seemed to have scored when in dawned on me....it was Ronaldo !

I ran back and they had disappeared..I was sooo upset..he is GOD!.I tracked her down and she confirmed he was on a private visit and she scored the only interview.

Now I'm waiting for the visit of the first God..Pele in September.!
BR Best Player in the World. Will effect the TV ratings and Prem League more than Man Utd who are already streets ahead of the other teams with or without Ronaldo.

Equally I am sure they have some new players up their sleeves - including a couple of Brazillians they are waiting to play in the first team so I read.

Silly money though......
Marcus Love him or loathe him, Ronaldo makes even the most causal football fan sit up and take notice, and for this reason the Premier League has lost its biggest star (aside from the fact he's also the second best player in the world, after Lionel Messi).
If, (and this is a big IF)Sir Alex is allowed to spend the £80 million, he will bring in several players, some of whom may be relative unknowns, who will prove more than capable of filling his boots. If this happens, Man Utd will win at least two trophies next season.
giles2008 I heard a rumour that hes spending the summer break coaching Tom Daley. £80 million? Has nobody told these greedy bastards there is a recession.
robbiex This is good news for non-Man U fans, as it will probably mean that they won't win anything next season Man U do have millions in debt and should be made to pay off those debts.
