Thank you; many friends from the past have appeared since hearing about Michael's death and several meals and meetings have resulted from that. His influence and memory lives on.
Andrew & Jean-Louis
Just found out about Michael from Karen Grainger when I bumped into her in Sherborne on Saturday
First knew Michael when he bought our cottage in Wiltshire back in the eighties and we became friends
Very generous guy and great fun
We had some fabulous dinners with him
Still have a ruby glass ashtray ,which belonged to Noel Gordon, which was a present from him
J-L was even allowed to drive his convertible Merc with the NG 10 number plates
And it was a small world because when I moved to London I worked part time in Le Gourmet in the Kings Road where Lee from Hot Gossip also worked
Last time we saw Michael was when he popped into see us in Hammersmith
I think he was on his way home after a birthday lunch at Le Manoir
Karin was planning for us all to have a little get together down here in Dorset but it was not to be

Spent this morning at Michael's cremation; only 25 really close friends and family were there, including Bruno Tonioli and Arlene Phillips.
Very nice, peaceful ceremony with much happy memories afterwards.
The main memorial service will be on 10th July.

Yes I can think of one in particular who would have been sad; I'll pass on the details of the memorial service when it's confirmed but it should be in 2 weeks.
veritas
do leave some details then of the service and such.
I had to break the news to some of his entertainment friends in Thailand and the UK..which came from your website. So many people were fond of Michael.
