The only true living icons now must be David Bowie and Madonna. Prince doesn't quite reach that standard. |

It's very sad-with so many dreary celebs today at least Jackson was truly eccentric.
I think you are right. His personal life was really quite awful and rather sad. It was inevitable that he would seek to create his own family.
I went to my only Jacko concert the night he got married in Sydney.
I can truly say I've never really been blown away before. Just superb. Energy, exciting and such fun. In fact, underneath the pop veneer was a classic showman who could utilize every trick in the book. I was sooo expecting him to blow away his critics with the London shows but had a vague feeling they weren't going to happen but never expected this.
