In The Know Wayne Rooney will definitely miss England's World Cup group stage games.
The striker, who has had a scan on his broken metatarsal, has been told he will not discover when he can resume training for another three weeks.

Rooney's club, Manchester United, confirmed the 20-year-old will require another scan on 14 June to determine when he can start training again.

Game Over ! (not that there was ever a hope anyway)
Martin K Great Sky News faux pas, on the Rooney recovery, which rang true, "...we will find out today if Rooney may or not be ready to join England in their attempt to win the FA Cup..."
It might be a safer bet to put them in for LDV Trophy at the moment.
What annoyed me most about the game last night, was that not one player seemed to be taking it seriously.(i.e, just make sure you don`t get injured)
These friendly matches have an air of The Harlem Globetrotters about them. The loser is the paying public, lots of youngsters will look forward to going to these expensive exhibitions(?), for a long time.
If they are to continue these friendlys, they had just as well play a club team. Celtic would have thrashed them.
In The Know If there are still any delusionals out there who think England have a hope in hell in Germany, last night's show against a 10 man Belarus (obviously one of the better football nations !!!) should have put them right !
