I think he's settled into the role extremely well - he had to after the stunning performances of Chris Eccleston.

Great storyline and script tonight though I agree - just the sort of family entertainment the BBC should be doing.
mickeyone I thought that tonight's episode was the best yet - written by Mark Gatiss (League of Gentlemen), very dark but very compelling. While I don't really like David Tennant as the Doctor, I found him more acceptable in this one - maybe it was the hair, he looked a bit like a young Clint Eastwood !!
JK2006 I really don't like David Tennant as an actor.
